Dear Book of Matches - (btw, I can send a photo, if you would like) I just wanted to let your members know that this site does work & to be patient . . . their match is out there! In June of this last year, I ran into your site & decided "What the heck - I haven't had much luck in the REAL world!" So I half-heartedly composed a profile and then checked my messages about every other day. I received several messages from some very nice men - and went so far out of my comfort zone as to answer several of those messages & chat with a few of the men. I wasn't totally sold on the idea of online dating - was pretty skeptical, actually - so when I received an IM from a man in another state, I warily replied & ended up enjoying a nice online chat session, in spite of myself. At the end of the chat, we agreed to send email & get together to chat again soon. "Soon" ended up being the next evening, and after about a week of chatting - sometimes until the very wee hours of the morning - we decided we'd like to talk on the phone (another scary venture for me!) Of course, talking on the phone didn't seem to be enough, and after a couple of weeks of pure torture we decided he would drive to my city so we could meet face-to-face. Both of us had privately prepared ourselves to be disappointed: knowing we were absolutely crazy about each other's personalities, sense of humor, etc. was one thing, but we knew if there was no chemistry, we'd get no further in the relationship! Bundles of nerves in-hand, we met. My first thoughts when I saw him were, "Yes!" and "Wow!" The first words out of his mouth were, "You're beautiful!" And needless to say, the short visit to "get it over with" was extended & our REAL courtship began! Several thousand miles on both vehicles & a few short months later, we got married. He is a wonderful husband - everything I have ever dreamed of and so much more. Had it not been for your site, however, I would have never found him!!! With us living in different states, our chances of even passing each other on some highway somewhere were slim-to-nothing! (And he told me that, had it not been for your site, he would have never had the nerve to approach me - and how sad THAT would have been!!!) The distance between us was hard, but I think it forced us to be "real" and not put on any pretenses. Of course, it also made us both prove the level of dedication & commitment . . . who else but a couple of love-sick fools would spend all of their extra time driving hundreds of miles just to spend a few short hours together, week after week? So for those members who are serious about this site - and for those who are pessimistic - hang in there. It may not be soon, so don't give up too quickly - but there IS hope! Best wishes --

your site is the best I have seen so far-- I have seen many and the only thing lacking on your site is its limited access to those needing it--- How do you fix that--- like all the others-- but a name list that relates more to your target group that will pay-- 25-50 age range---- where do you buy it?-- right from the msn network-- they have a match.com site --- you sign up to advertise some useless item that in the end will relate back to your site--- get there site that is very successful to sell yours-- and since yours will outclass them--you will win--- sould take about 6 months from the time you start--- Good luck --

I think the people who manage the site are excellent at customer service and will give you a hand if you have a little problem or need something changed. They also try to maintain an almost "human to human" business relationship with everyone on here which is really nice and hard to do by the way on the web. I just thought you might like another success story to add to your page. In may of 2004, I joined your site. I was looking for men within 150 miles of my home in Florida. The search kept pulling up one man in Ohio who I was 100% compatible with. After several searches with the same result, I e-mailed him, and we started a long distance friendship. Within two months I had the opportunity to visit him in Ohio. I never returned to Florida. We got along so well that I didn't want to leave, and he didn't want me to go.
