STORY: We were barely getting by with money. I remember when I was with my Ex-husband and he bought me a cheap diamond ring, it made me so happy for the thought of knowing that he loved me enough to get me something for that christmas, to show me that he loved me a lot. He also told me that he was planing on getting me a real ring with real diamonds when he could get the money. If you really LOVE someone, a label of value should not be questioned, but as long as the man is willing to make things right later, that is the most important. If you can't get what I really trying to say, then you missing the whole point. It was the THOUGHT that counted on his part, and that he really loved me. I kept that ring for many of years, and told my children about the story. THE END! I have no problem in wearing or getting a CZ diamond ring, but it has to be real solid gold/silver so it won't knoch up with brass under the cheap metal and cut or turn my skin green, because I would rather not wear a blood diamond that someone will/has killed for. Yes diamonds is a girl best friend, but I rather use the money and feed the hungry people then to have something that someone would want to kill me to have it for themself. END of RING knowledge. I'm not a cheap person, but I don't believe in foolish spending of money, when you can help 3rd world countries with food, place it on your "tax write off" and feel good about doing something good for others, before you go to bed at night. I love to be romance by my sweetheart.
