In my past relationship I was with someone who was very controlling, insecure and extremely negative. Being myself means being fun loving, happy and having control over myself. I want to be accepted for who I am and in return I'll accept them for who they are.

Are you willing to compromise in difficult times and situations?

I believe in the past that I was more than willing to compromise even when I didn't really want to. I gave up my job of 15 years to travel with my "then" husband. His dream was to travel cross country in an RV, I was the type of person that needed to feel grounded. I'm no longer willing to compromise to "that extent", however, we all need to compromise to some point to make a relationship successful.
