I am very loyal and unabashed. I am intellectual and very affectionate. I pretty much like everybody, and people seem to find me easy to talk to. The only thing more wide open than my mind is my mouth. You will never be in doubt about my opinion. No secrets from me. I am learning to omit and respect the feelings of others, but I'd rather hurt your feelings that lie. Sorry, I guess that is selfish, huh? Keeping up lies is too much work, and not on my agenda on this Earth.

I am not a huge movie buff. I tend to be overly critical. Recently caught one on skin-e-max that was pretty good called "The Lookout".
My kids decide what we watch.within boundaries.Iron Man was very good.we go to the theater about every other month.
I don't do much TV either. I rent all the UFC fights, and watch some college and Pro Football. Aside from that, an occasional doc, history show and the weather suits me. You can have the remote unless OU or the Packers are playing.

I wanna rock. Still. I never outgrew 80's metal. I have a lot of obscure favorites. RUSH is my all time favorite group. I will listen to most types of music. All I own is rock. Old rock, new rock, but mostly heavy, heady types of rock.

I guess I am not alone, since most of what I still like is wildy popular and 2/3 of those old bastages are still touring.

When the boat sank and it was every man for himself, I tread water in a pool of gas and oil mixture long enough to get 3rd degree burns on my crotch in order to help extend the mortality of a high school buddy who could not swim and was glued to the tree in the middle of the cove on Ellsworth.
I finally had to tell him I was going to leave him there to get struck by lightning and started to swim away when he crawled back down to the waterline.
Yes, I sacrificed the skin on my nuts for a guy I had only known 6 months.
I am good to have around in emergencies.I did not want chemical burns on my nads, but I really really hate funerals too.
Yes, I know all about sacrifice, and settling for less so my family and friends can have their needs met.

Sure we can meet by email, meet in person, meet and eat, whatevr. I have been doing this for a while, and my expectations are very real now. I am sure of the fact that there's no real attraction until after the sniff test, but there are lots of great folks to know in this world, even if it never leaves cyberspace.

I have been free from any type of romantic relationship for about 4 years. I have my head on straight and zero lingering drama. I have three sons who are priority uno, and I am not needy or dependent in any way. Since I live way out here and have not made finding a mate a priority, I have only had a handful of first dates and no nibbles or bites. I have a full time job in the field of engineering which is currently priority dos. It could be pushed down to tres for the right gal.
