So here I am, 3 hours from the closest beach and living in what seems like Compton. I would never have moved to Compton back in LA (didn't really like drive-bys, and could do without carjackings). I wasn't expecting to be in the minority. I'm not racist but I feel like a grain of white sand on a black sand beach. But my kids live here with their mom and I couldn't bear to let them grow any older only remembering me as a preset on their phone. WEST MEETS EAST: So now I am looking for a (just pick one) "down to earth" "grounded" "laid back" "not stressed out" "low maintenance" type of woman. I guess you would be a local girl. You must like kids and animals. You must like the sun, oceans, lakes, rivers, streams, waterfalls, sand, clouds, snow, rain, mountains and fresh air. I must be able to carry you easily over a threshold (one day). You must not be too superficial, be able to look past character defects, and see the good in people as well as the bad. I KNOW WHAT I LIKE: I like purple sunsets, perfect waves, good friends, the adrenaline rush you get when you meet someone special (you get it when you hang up or when you part, if that feeling was there all the time life couldn’t get much better.
