Wow, an easy question. My friends would definitely describe me as outgoing, funny, spontaneous, loyal, honest, caring, a good listener. I love a good laugh. I can be a sarcastic person. The funny sarcastic. I am not cynical by any means. Some people would say I think a lot. But what's wrong with that? I try to make the best out of any situation.

What bothers me? That's kind of a rhetorical question, I think. A trap, maybe? I have done a lot of thinking lately and realized life is too short to sit and ponder on the things that bother me. I think it is more influential to one's self to think about what makes them happy about people. And the "bothers" or the flaws, look at them as something more to love about that person. We are individuals for a reason. One more thing, if you have baptized your life in head games, drama or maybes, keep looking. Again, either accept me for who I am or don't "bother"!

Qualities, qualities, qualities! The simple things. Honesty, loyalty, communicative, good listener. At least act like you're listening. Passionate, loving and caring. Willing to compromise. Has to have a good sense of humor. That is a must. Ambitious and spontaneous at times. Just your everyday qualities.

I will listen to almost anything. But my heart belongs to country and R&B. My favorite group of all time is 112. I love Gary Allen. But like I said, I will listen to almost anything. I was raised on music. Old and new. If I am listening to the radio and I hear someone like Journey, Heart, Foreigner or a band of that sort, I am always down for that. To tell you the truth, I don't think I could live without music!

Another sticky situation. I am myself. For years, I suppose, I would allow people to frame me into what they believed to be "their type". But you know, after so many years of putting up with that crap, and waking up one day and realizing you're not the same person, that's kind of absurd. No one can make you be yourself or even help you for that matter. Yes, I have learned the hard way. I am a simple person but I have morals and standards I live up to. If you can't accept that, then you need to move on. Being comfortable around someone should be natural, not forced! Basically, I need or am looking for someone who has a personality similar to mine. And doesn't need to be molded. Be yourself!

Have I ever compromised? I don't even want to go there. I swear I have compromised too much. I hope that answers the question!! I am more than willing to do what it takes as long as the other person is willing to do the same. I will always stand by your side and hold you so you don't fall. Aren't you supposed to do that for the person you love?

Definitely looking for a new beginning. I am almost 30 and thought I would have been married by now. I only want to be married once and to the same woman for the rest of my life. I don't deal well with games or maybe's. I need the real thing. I would like to add a side note to this essay
Something I am looking forward to in my next relationship. I have never really had the opportunity to be able to spend the quality time necessary with someone before jumping into SERIOUS! For example, going on dates, talking on the phone, exchanging emails, longing for the chance to talk to one another again. Either one coming to the other's house in the middle of the night, just so they can be close. Because they're having trouble sleeping. That's what I would like to have for once. I believe that would be the foundation of a great and solid relationship.

To be honest,I don't think there is such a thing. A perfect date? Get real! I am a simple person but would love to try something/anything different on a first date. As long as I can be comfortable and be ME, that would be a good date. I would like to add that I think the FIRST date is so over rated. I know people try to impress one another but come on, everyone needs to be themselves. You're supposed to feel comfortable. If it's not there, it's not there. People need to stop TRYING to make someone fall for them.
