My friends usually find me very funny. People are usually drawn to me spiritually. I am found to exhibit great leadership. My friends and family call me a trend setter. Some call me "Professor". My friends find me wise beyond my years but very youthful for my age. My children call me "Cool". I am mostly described as very down to earth and very laid back but very serious when necessary.

Men have told me one thing but really meant something else. I seem to attract people who are takers. I am a giving spirit and it appears it can be seen from miles away. It has made me unsure and distrustful of people.

I am looking for a man who can be romantic to a fault. I need a man who can think for me as well as himself. I would hope to find a man who desires to know all there is about me and to read my profile for starters before asking. I don't need my man to be a brainiac but to at least be able to put together a decent profile and when writing to me, be able to put together a sentence and make sense. I want a man who takes time with making himself presentable. He would have to look good and smell good. I also want a man who takes good care of his hands and his feet. These areas are very important to me. If these things are in place, the rest will come naturally.

I don't really have a favorite movie but I love Sci-Fi and horror especially. Not some senseless gorry mess of a movie but a movie that makes sense and is believeable. I also love animation.

I am into quite a lot when it comes to music. I like R&B (Motown), Reggae, Blues, Jazz, Rock and even some Country now and again. Ask me the title or the artist of some of this music and I'm sure I couldn't tell you but I'll bet I could sing the words to most all of them.

I have my grandmother to thank for shaping me into the woman I am. When I was a teenage girl, she sent me to modeling school and then put me in pagents where I won many of them up until I turned 16 years of age and refused to do any more of them. She brought me up around political figures and instead of working at the local MacDonalds or Burger King, she had me working out of a senators office at age 14. I was always invited to political balls and dances. I didn't appreciate the life at that time but as I look back on it now, I can certainly see where she wanted me to be.

Of course. What kind of relationship could one be happy in if it all goes one way? I believe it is what makes a relationship stronger. As for my own personal experience, I choose not to share that as it is just that. personal.

I am really looking for a long term relationship with a special someone. I would want to be especially careful but even if I met someone in person, it would be hard to determine what is safe. I have met 2 people off the internet and what a horror that was. Of course they knew it right off and they were kind enough not to persue it. We met up so that there were no embarassing scenes. They were gentlemen but they also knew they did not meet up to my standards.

From the time of my divorce until now, I have dedicated my time to raising my children. They are all grown and now is my own time to persue happiness for myself. I have no one I need to remove from my life. I would hope that whomever I choose to be with has no loose ends they need to tie up or that they are attached to someone from their past. I don't need any drama.

I am a 100% natural woman who does not hide my natural beauty with chemicals in my hair or outrageous makeup on my face or false nails. My hair is beautifully groomed in locks. I like earth tone colors and soft flowing things. I am down to earth and very old fashioned. I love to wear my dresses long and I love the smell of beautiful perfumes and flowers. I live to be pampered but I love to shower my man with affection too. I am greatly turned on by a man who smells wonderful. I am a great cook and I love to experiment with new recipes. I love being wined and dined. I have never traveled on a vacation but I take long trips in the books I read. I love jazz, classic R&B, blues and soft rock. I am a deeply spiritual person who believes in God but I hold true to no religion. I love burning candles and incense in my atmosphere. I am currently a self employed writer who publishes articles for online companies. I am originally from Chicago and I married early in life and divorced after only eight years. After my divorce 17 years ago, I moved to Atlanta with my four children and raised them single handed. I put relationships on the back burner while I devoted my time to raising my children. They are now all grown and have families of their own and I feel it is my time to shine. I have a very youthful appearance but I am wise beyond my years. Outside of my books, I have never been on a real vacation. I would love to travel someplace I have never been. After my first marriage, I never trustee my heart to another and I never had the desire to do it again but I now realize I was too young at the time to understand what true love would bring and so I might try that again. Of course I would be more selective the next go around.
