U m this is tough, don't have many friends anymore. Just kinda moved or grew apart (mostly moved). I'm a nice guy, they'd all say that. I am VERY passionate about some things (politics, military stuff, and bad drivers). I see all the great things in the world but don't tend to focus on them verbally. Everybody says I'm outgoing and great in crowds but I am super shy (not sure how that works!)

Dishonesty and stupidity. I'm not saying this because I've been cheated on like most people who would say it. I'm saying it because so many people lie to themselves about who they are. I say stupidity because I dated a girl once with a 3 year old boy who only knew the word "ugh" at the same time a friend I had with a 3 yr old had a fully articulate son. The "stupid" mom didn't seem to understand her kid was an idiot. It wasn't the kids fault, she babied him, but never did understand she was a crappy mom. Needless to say that relationship didn't last long. But its a good example of people who just don't understand that they can be wrong. Heck, I'm wrong all the time and can see it, why can't everybody else?

Somebody who can hold a conversation. Somebody with lots of interests (they don't have to be the same!). Somebody who doesn't take life too seriously or thinks they are better than others. Sure you may *look* better, or be *smarter*, but every single human on this planet is better at *something* then you are, remember that.

I guess I like 80s most, but I listen to 60s-current, classical, *some* rap/R&B. I also love *some* opera and many movie soundtracks (Hans Zimmer ROCKS!)
As for groups, well, not a big groupie, but some groups (like aerosmith) have a lot more "good" music in my opinion then a group like coldplay.

I'm 34 and have already lived a pretty full life. There are various things I just don't tolerate. The biggest is dishonesty. I'm 100% my self all the time. I don't play games, don't bite my tongue, and don't hide who I am. If I want to sing along to the B-52's in my car with the windows down, I'll do it. If I want to act like a goof in a store on the kids isle, I'll do it. I guess I just do what I want, and honesty is a big thing there. I want somebody who can honestly say "Hey, your a goof", and somebody who can be honest with who they are as a person (if they want to sing, DO IT!). I'm not big on gossip and never take advantage of anyone. I'm very much the gentleman, *extremely* dependable, generous, and polite. On the other hand if your an idiot in denial I'll definately let you know (if your not in denial I'll treat with respect). I don't like people with hidden agendas or who play any form of games. Life's too short to screw around with words and feelings when you'll live a better life if you just be yourself.
If you want to be comfortable with me just be yourself. Don't take anything personally and enjoy life to its fullest. Don't hold anything back at all. If you want to say something not very politically correct do so. Its VERY hard to offend me, and I'm VERY understanding. I apparently also blabber a lot looking at the length of this answer, so on to the next one :)

Not really looking to meet but I'm open if you really wanna. Maybe over lunch but probably nothing more. I've met lots of people off the internet, most lie about something personal, often the compatibility isn't there in person that may have been there in email/IM.

I carry no baggage as I haven't ever had a "bad" relationship. I'm just looking for friends wouldn't expect to ever grow beyond that.

My typical day:

A day in the life of myself. Well it'll probably be quite boring, as thats what I'm here trying to change :)
I wake up around 6-7 (depending on how late I stayed up), sit around and surf the web for about half an hour. Then I work out (usually a 2 mile run or so) and sit around a bit longer before going and taking a shower and getting ready for work. Takes me a while to wake up ;) I may or may not eat breakfast, if I do its usually just a breakfast bar sorta thing. Head in to work, which takes from 30-90 minutes depending on traffic and my random office location. I won't describe work, as its quite boring to most normal people and if I wanted to talk about work, well. I could just do more of it ;)
So when I get home from work I check my email, fix some food, maybe watch some TV. My evenings are spent going out to eat, watching movies, occasional short trips, but usually pretty light stuff. My weekends vary completely. One weekend I may work on the house, the next weekend play a computer game, the next weekend go to some nature type of thing (the last was an exotic cat habitat!), or sometimes I kinda sit around and watch TV/Movies or work on the yard/garden. I'm not a high stress sorta person. I do go out occasionally, but not typically.
