Now, i'm a texan who is anything but typical. I have a twisted sense of humor that takes some people a while to get. Just got a haircut today, so maybe i'll post a pic. I'm a night owl, who generally doesn't go to bed untill around 2 or 3 am. Then i get up around 6 am for another rousing day of work and play. My favorite movies are foriegn. Love books, but my taste might be a little obscure. You have never heard of any of my favorite bands, if you have i will be duly impressed.I'm a single dad of boys, so I have obligations that come before my personal life. I appear normal to the world but am actually a little kinked. What else can i say.

i read newspapers, comic books, magazines, shopping lists, recipts, tv guide( though i never really have the time to watch anything on tv) backs of cereal boxes, warning labels, clothes labels(machine wash tumble dry is my favorite)record labels( made the mistake of refering to a cd single remix with a bonus track as a 12 inch to one of the younger set, and he had no point of reference to what i meant. i now officially feel old. "hey you kids! get off my lawn!")bussiness cards, greeting cards( i collect them. probablly the oddest thing i collect if you ask me)trading cards,small notes i write to myself, small notes other people write to me,oh yeah, and books, childrens books, coloring books(i'm very good at staying inside the lines now),even a few grown-up books, text books,cookbooks(always looking for new recipes, i do a test run of my thanksgiving day dinner in the middle of july just to make sure i've got any new recipes down),match books (close cover before striking), all of this and nothing. my reading is more scattershot than directed, kinda voracious. the best underrated books i love are the "His Dark Materials" set by pullman. you must read it, simply amazing. end.
