A friend would say what I pay him/her to say, lol. A friend would say that I'm there when he/she needs me, and that I can laugh when things get tough. I'm very easygoing yet independent by nature, softspoken but can be very expressive, quiet yet adventurous, utterly unpretentious, and I live by the Golden Rule. I've a good sense of humor, often dry, sometimes subtle, and occasionally, well. . . I prefer irony to sarcasm, and don't mind being teased (or teasing back). I'm not too stubborn to admit being wrong, nor do I crow when I'm right. (Oh right, did I mention teasing?)
I enjoy my job, but it's not my life. I take care of business and the day-to-day, but I'm not blindered to enjoying living. I'm not a sports- or TV-holic. I'm not heavily into fitness but I keep myself in relatively good shape. I like being active and trying the different or off-the-beaten-path. I like reading, the occasional movie in or out (pizza!), cycling or walking, going dancing or to an event, or visiting, and I'm always open to suggestions
I've never been married, and I don't have any children. I've been in love, and not, and 'in' beats 'not' all day and a lifetime. I want someone to enjoy life with together, but I'm not desperate or needy. I can be quite romantic and passionate if that spark is there, and I love having fun and laughing. As far as friends, being let down or 'stabbed' by someone I really trusted and valued, not that it's happened often. As far as dating, finding that someone isn't honest about herself and her life - again, it's happened only very rarely. Overall, online dating has been a good experience.

I am drawn to a woman who is attractive both outside and inside. She's slim and shapely and good-looking (OK, so maybe you're laughing and thinking, "with this guy's looks he couldn't sneak up on milk, and he's looking for ME?"). She's intelligent and creative, with an adventurous personality and fine sense of humor. She's successful and happy with herself. She's youthful and active in mind, heart and body, sensual, loving and lovable, and a one-man woman. She takes my breath away whenever, wherever, and however I see her. And . . .

Isn't online dating the blindest of dates, or what? How about coffee or a drink in a nice public place, not really a date, just meeting. No pressure, we can chat, look for chemistry and potential, all that stuff we should've started with, and if we click, take it from there, maybe go to or plan on dinner or some event. . .
. . .and if we don't click, no problem. Here's the plan: at a prearranged signal, I'll say something fresh, you slap me, and we go out different doors flipping each other off and not paying the bill. See, no pressure. Are you a righty or a lefty? I want to roll with it. . . :D
