Ok, this is a blonde moment, but I pulled up to the gas station in a very small rural town. Filled up, paid and drove off. I had about an hour drive back home and noticed a few cars waving, honking, etc. This was at night, when I arrived home and got out of the car, I noticed I had driven off without taking the gas nozzle out of my caryup, there it was, the nozzle and part of the hose still in my gas tank.
