Online Dating - BOAT_BUM - The unexamined life is not worth living

I'm from a little town of about 500 people in Northern New York State. I grew up around more cows then people and a lot of snow and cold. I learned quite quickly that those things weren't for me. What's for me? I've found some great paths to happiness and am still looking for more. I worked my butt off and started a consulting company helping big corporations get difficult computer projects working. I was very good at it and liked it a lot. I might even do it again someday. But in I closed down my corporation and went out sailing. I love traveling and seeing new places. I know a lot of people say that, but, I really mean it! I've sailed to Hawaii and spent 3 years in Central America. I spend the last year and a half in the Eastern Caribbean. I've put about 14.000 ocean miles under my keel. I just sailed my boat back to Florida from Grenada alone. (I know I don't want to do that again.) I keep a house in Mount Dora Florida but I spend about half my time on my boat. I usually keep it in Tampa so I guess that's a second address for me. I'm not sure what I want to do next. I might go back out sailing someday if I find someone who would enjoy it with me. But I've done a lot of that and I think I could be happy doing something else. I guess I still don't know what I want to do when I grow up. I might work again. I might develop some inventions I've been thinking about. I might just go skiing. I do know I want a life surrounded by beauty. I am an honest, responsible, and considerate kind of a guy. I'm clever. I can fix about anything. I like to live lightly on the earth. When I travel most all of my power comes from the wind and the sun. I've gone a year using only 100 gallons of diesel and 8 gallons of propane. If you are into the Myers Briggs thing I believe I am an INTP. I'm more comfortable in a one-to-one intimate conversation then a loud bar. I like sailing, hiking, and movies. I like natural things. I like beauty. I prefer rowing a boat up a nice river to a tacky tourist trap. I like to see joy in my womans eyes. Even if that means visiting the tourist trap. I couldn't enjoy it alone but I can truly enjoy another's enjoyment.
