I haven't really gotten to know them,it bis far too easy for an overflowing daytimer to crush the very best of intentions and commitments!!! Busy schedules, snippets of conversation and 15 minute sitdown chats do not work well as relationship starters!I also know I've been to prone to ask them to meet a "checklist" rather than looking at them in terms of heart to heart connecting! I'm now determined to link to another soul, mind and heart rather than seek for that which will seem great for one moment but seem rather empty as time continues on.

I think I create comfort for others by making consistant eye contact! I also am willing to be of help- it's great to be able to show a person that you want to start a relationship WITH them- not to discover merely what you can gain from them! BoM is a great place to get a fresh start- sometimes you can morph yourself into becoming a better person just by practicing an admirable skill that you see someone else demonstrate! I've also discovered that here on BoM some people are looking for people offer them encouragement and jump start their morale, I've made some great friends here on BoM by seeking out people to assist in this way!

In August of , I suffered a nervous break down! This meant that I was forced to accept the high price attached to refusing to compromise and co-operate! I learned that silence can say more than a 100 " clever words"! I discovered that living out what available and are not tied to seeing every whim of mine fulfilled! I've tend to torture myself greatly on and in the days leading up to special "romantically connected" days such as Februrary 14th! I am slowly learning that this is nothing but a self- catered pity party and that the rule about liking myself and finding my own company desirable doesn't disappear just because of changes on the calendar!

My typical day:

My day is usually spent doing service and being of help. I work and am a client at a center that provides training and support for adults who have long term struggles with mental illness and severe emotional distress! The main priority for each day is to teach people the value of structuring their day! It is easy when all seems overwhelming to feel lost and overwhelmed, it is most empowering and satisfying to develop the desire to live to the fullest today and to seek to make that the basis for an excellent tomorrow!
When my work is finished, I enjoy going on long walks, this helps to get me into a creative mode! I have been working on a continuing development of Public Speaking enhancement programs for children and youth!I also write devotionals and bible studies for children and youth.
The end of my day is a time to review, reconsider and prepare myself to be useful and available at the start of the next day! A smile at night before closing my eyes is a commitment to making the coming day the best I can make it be! A smile can also be a subtle reminder that I can be at peace, even briefly, with myself at the end of a day then the Universe is good- whether or not it seems to be great or horrible at that moment!
