Knowing that the person has a healthy sense of humor and doesn't take everything so seriously helps to put me at ease. Also if I know that person is comfortable being themselves at all times I can relax. I have a good sense of humor and am not easily angered and I think these things can put someone at ease.

I am willing to compromise in difficult situations. Relationships take work and you have to be willing to do the give and take thing to gain success. My whole marriage was an excersise in compromise.
