People say that I am:

My friends have told me that I have to big of a heart. I'm way to trusting and that I want to believe in the good in everyone. I care about my friends and if I don't hear from them for a few days I start to worry. I love to laugh, joke, I try to help as much as I possibly can if I can. I'll stand up for the underdog if the need arises.
I use to be in a band years ago and would be out singing almost every night. I gave it up but sometimes my friends will ask me to sing and if i feel up to it I will.
I also use to paint. I quit when I lost my mom because she was always having me paint something for her. I lost her in 92 but I've been seriously thinking about going back to it. My friends have told me that I have many talents and I should utilize them and not let them go to waste. They say that I have alot of positive energy and I should share it with others.
Also if my friends could speak they would tell you that I don't play games. I'm honest with people even when their not with me. If you met me I could introduce you to some of them who could tell you exactly what type of person I am. So if you want to play games or lie then please do me a favor and leave me alone. Because I WOULDN"T DO IT YOU!!!!!

Things that have bothered me:

OK!! As I stated I'm disabled. I have Fibromyalgia ( Chronic Pain Syndrome ) Which means that I am always in pain. It's a disease of the muscles. It doesn't mean that I'm different from anyone else or expect to be treated any differently. I can walk, talk, dance, throw a football or baseball, arm wrestle, go fishing and bait my own hook, I can shoot better then most people as I've been trained in firearms. It seems that when someone finds out that I have a disabilty then I must be ready for a wheelchair. Which I'm not. I tell the truth about myself and don't hide anything. But even though some people state that they don't like others who lie they in turn do it themselves to me. Guess they figure since I'm not perfect I have no feelings. But I do!!! I'm just as human as anyone else.Years ago the Drs wanted to put me on a morphine pump but I refused. I fight this everyday and I never give up. I love life and I have learned to deal with this. I'm the type of person that if you show me a Rollercoaster I'll be the first in line to ride even though I'll be hurting afterwards. I don't let this stop me. But it seems that it stops others when they find out. I guess they are looking for someone perfect but I've never met that type of person. I go camping, hiking, fishing,walking, dancing and all kinds of other things. I learned to laugh when I'm in pain along time ago which helps me to get thru it and also helps to make it easier to accept. If I can accept this then why can't anyone else??? I'm the one who's feeling it. Not them!!!! I just want to be treated as a human being. Not a freak!!!!
OH!!! And I will be posting new pics soon as I've steadily been losing weight and I've been told that I look better in person then in my pic's. And thats from other guys. I'm just an Old Fashioned Southern Girl from N. Carolina who wishes to have a life again!!!!!
Oh and I came here starting out in Va. and then lived in Texas for 4 years. I've lived here just over 1 year 8 months now and I've been going to the same church for over 1 1/2 years.

I want him to be kind,caring and gentle. Loves to laugh with and at himself,I want him to have a big heart and not be afraid to show it. I would like for him to be my height or taller, not to over weight, beautiful eyes, smile and hair. Dress appropriate no matter what the occasion,even if it's old jeans and a T-shirt, no illegal drugs or excessive use of alcohol. Must love kids and animals. He will understand me and my disabilty's and not condemn me for them if I'm having a rough go of it. If theres really a guy out there like this!

My funniest life experience:

One thing I have never forgotten is when we lived in Italy and the sub that my dad was on decided to have a Donkey Baseball game. That was the funniest and most fun I have ever had before. I've never forgotten that game even after all these years. I was only 7 when that happened.

I have alot of interests in alot of subjects. I was raised in the Military so I did alot of traveling with my parents. I've learned about and did many things during that time that helped me become the kind of person I am today. I'm the type of person who will try to help others if I can. I don't cuss or use drugs or drink alot and I don't lie! I have a big heart which has caused me some problems in the past.

I have no one at all. I dated that one person for a few weeks this year and that is all. The last date I had before that was years ago. So YES. I would definatly be starting from scratch. There isn't anyone for me to put behind me. I was to busy taking care of my parents and raising my children for these past few years so I never thought about me. I'm hoping to find someone to share my life with if possible.

My typical day:

I generally get up early even though I would love to sleep in. I'll check my email and answer some and delete the spam that was able to make it through. I have my cup of coffee and let my dog outside. Sometimes I have breakfast but most of the time I skip it.
If I'm leaving the house I will put on alittle makeup and curl my hair an take off for the bus stop. I always take my cell phone with me because my friends who live in other states will call or visa versa. My oldest friend is from my home state of N. C. and we've been friends for 30 years now. People use to tell us that we looked like sisters. LOL!!!!
I do whatever shopping I have to do or just have fun and window shop or see what other places there are to explore here that the buses will travel too!
When I get home I rest and get something cool to drink then I'll get whatever housework there is to do done And snuggle up in my chair with one of our cats and maybe watch some TV or check my email again. I get dinner cooked if we both feel like it. ( my daughter and I ) If not we might just have a sandwich.
After dinner I might do a few surveys that I get online and watch a few of my favorite shows. I then talk to my friends online or on the phone after the news. Most nights I go across the street to the school and walk the tract to keep in shape and to lose a few extra pounds that I need to get rid of. LOL!!!! I always go to bed late as I never sleep very long. I average about 3 to 6 hours a night. Then I'm up and going again the next day. LOL!!!!!

I would love to fly in a Helicopter! Thats something I have always dreamed of. I've been on commercial airliners, cruise ship, was learning years ago to fly a Cessna, been on trains, flew a H-C130 (once we were in the air) sat in the pit of a jet which was the flying team of the Thunderbirds when I lived in Hawaii,
I can't drive because of my disability's. But if it's in the air I'll give it a go. LOL!!! I want to go to the theater and to concerts. I haven't gone in so many years now. Also I'll still ride a rollercoaster. LOL!!! I would also love to go up in a Hot Air Balloon.
