Just plain and simple honesty. If you are honest about the way you feel, your opinions, anything even if it is unpopular then people will know what they can say or how they can say things around you. For as long as I can remember I have had the ability to have people come up to talk to me, confide in me and share parts of their lives with me that they did not feel compfortable in sharing with others. This question has been proven to be such a hazard. So now I walk on eggshells to answer it appropriately and honestly. I will never ever start from scatch with someone. To me that means that you are willing to throw every life learned lesson out the window, and prepare yourself to make what in some cases may have been poor decisions. I would much rather take the good with the bad and start anew, not from scratch.
Putting things or people behind you. That would be called my foundation. In life, love, and relationships we hopefully have expieriences that we build from. In my case I have been both the presenter and the recipiant in some hard lessons learned. Though the full spectrum of what was unfolding then could not be appreciated until later, I am appreciative of the foundation it has given me today.
