I'm more of a fan of when music was original and good. The 70's rock groups are my faves, but I do love country music, very little hip-hop, jazz, and I've even been known to love some classical music too.

I'm a laid back person. I enjoy laughing and talking. I love ruining a good joke. Sarcastic humor is my favorite. It reminds me of the men in my family. I have the best men in my family. Hard working, caring, loyal, and EXTREMELY honest. I tend to be quick witted. I'm the girl that always has a quick one-liner to throw into the conversation. I can be serious too. There's a time and a place for it all. One thing that makes me uncomfortable is public displays of affection. I don't want to hang on someone all night long and I certainly don't want to be hung on. I have a job I love, a son I adore, a Bassett Hound that's spoiled beyond belief, and all I need now is someone to share my life with. I have no baggage. Nothing has been unsaid, no strings are attached, and no drama is waiting on the other side of my door.

My perfect date? Yea, I have no clue what my perfect date would be. Perhaps it would be an evening out for dinner and a movie. But then again, I love staying in and playing in the kitchen. I'm not much of a cook alone though. I enjoy cooking when it's done with someone I care about. We would be bouncing around in the kitchen, occasionally bumping into each other. Discussing our day and our plans for the weekend. We would be enjoying each other's laugh as we chopped vegetables and sip wine. Okay, I will drink the wine and you can have anything you like. While cooking we would listen to classic rock and sing and dance around as if we have no cares in the world. Once dinner is complete, we would sit down together, eat, and relax. We could toss in a movie and cuddle up on the couch, invite people over for a mean game of Texas Hold'em, or just hold each other until we fall asleep. It just depends on the mood and how long we've been dating. :)
