Belief in God is important as a large part of my life is centered in His service. From time to time, I travel and lecture on Christian Apologetics and I am also active in live theater here in my area, appearing in plays from time to time.

For some reason, people seem to open up to me. I serve in my church as a teacher and a counselor and have learned to listen with my mouth shut. what makes me open up to others is the perception that the lady to whom I am speaking seems genuinely interested in what I have to say.

No, I do not compromise my principles in difficult situations as a rule. There have been times in my professional past where it was necessary, but it is not on my day to day life principles. One should never do the wrong thing for the right reasons. Now, if the compromise is between food tastes, choice of movie, what to do for the night, then yes, I will often compromise.

I am willing to meet a lady or two from this service. I am hoping to find a companion to share life with as I am quite active and tire of doing things alone. I have yet to meet anyone from the Internet as of yet, but am willing to give it a try.

I do my best to respond to people from the day which we meet. I have travelled a crooked path to come back home and God has forgiven me and allowed me many do-overs. Who am I to be judgemental of other's pasts?
I have started life over. I was married to one one woman for 25 years and have been living alone with my dog and bird on some acreage NE of Birmingham for the last 5 years. My children are grown and living away. It's just these darn cold, long nights that are the hardest. I would genuinely like to find a companion, a friend, a confidant and, . well, we would see where it goes from there.

My typical day:

How about flying a kite during a picnic in a pasture followed by a nite at the theater then off to Coldstone for some ice cream? Or maybe a night of dancing followed followed by viewing the stars from atop a skyscaper?
As for a typical day; up at 5 AM, watch some news and workout. Off to work by 7AM, then home around 6PM. Off to the theater for rehersals 2-3 nights a week and home by 10Pm then to bed. Monday through Friday, that's me.
