I have been divorced for 11 years and am at a stage in my life where I would like to have someone to do things with other than my son or all of my married friends, not that there is anything wrong with any of those, but it would be nice to have someone in my life that would like to share the love I have to give.

My typical day:

My perfect date experience would be with Kevin Costner, but since that is totally out of the question, I would like the date to never end. I think it is important to always set time aside for each other regardless of how frantic your day, week or month has been. I make breakfast each morning before I leave for work, and send my son off to school with a hug and a kiss. I arrive at my office ready to start my day making contacts with our state Legislators. I spend a lot of time at the Capitol and then go home to my son, my german shepherd and two cats.

I have had a very diversified life. I've repelled from helicopters, scuba dive, have ridden motorcycles, ridden horses, ran seven marathons, but will not jump from a perfectly good airplane. Have a terrible fear of spiders, don't know why and don't really care to find out why, but enjoy the great outdoors, camping, hunting, fishing or just trapsing through the woods listening to the wonderful sounds.
