My funniest life experience:

I love to go fishing on the ocean. The first time was very memorable. There were about 17 other people on the boat and I was the only one who had never been before so the Captain and First Mate spent a lot of time helping me. We were fishing for bass and when the fish are caught they are just tossed on the boat, therefore laying around your feet. One flopped up and had me by the ankle. I was kicking, trying to get the fish off of me, yelling "It bit me!" "It bit me!" After several kicks the fish "let go" but it still hurt. Everyone was looking my way and laughing and my friend leaned over and whispered "The fish can't bite you". I insisted that it had and it still hurt, so I looked at my ankle and there was a fish hook ded in it. Then I managed to hook onto a Ling Cod, (only 3 people had that day) and I was really struggling to get it on the boat. Everyone was watching and saying things like "that must be a big one!" I finally got it up with the help of the Captain and he looked mystified. He said he didn't think it was big enough to keep. Then he started laughing and said (where everyone could hear) "In all my years of fishing I have never seen a fish that has been lassooed before. This fish has no hook in it." I had managed to get my line wound all the way around the middle of the fish! It was a very fun trip!
