I have the most amazing, open minded, loving family alive. But such is life all families have a downward fluctuation period. In this time everything that can go wrong does go wrong. This period occured when I was 12 and ended when I was 17. I moved to Texas from California when I was 21.during that down time my family was struggling to redefine the family and forgot they had a daughter who was struggling to find herself. This period was also the dawn of a divorce (my parents are friends still and I love them both) BUT I hadn't seen a successful marriage while growing up. I only heard of them. Not until I got to Austin did I make friends with the most amazing couple. Now I know what I want in a relationship and how to deal with problems. I am still learning and growing but I am proud of who I am and where I came from.

Here's my theory, I make friends, have fun, a guy starts hanging out with us or me, sees I'm fun, we both enjoy eachother's company and bam! It's brilliant. No looking, no stressing, no awkwardness. Just fun, friends, and hey if it doesn't work out no one will feel guilty.

In a few years-when I finish college I am going to buy a Toyota Tacoma. In that time I may get a dog-or kidnap a friend's dog who is awesome. Then I am going to go live out in the desert for a few months. I plan on driving on the ridge between Death Valley and Saline Valley to the Race Tracks. And living out there until my food and water supply run low. Then I will head over to the Eureka Dunes.spend a day running and sliding down the dunes. Before going back to town for food. I have some friends who own a talc mine up in the mountains. I may go spend time on their ranch. Plus, my favorite hot springs just happen to be in the area. Unfortionately, this dream needs to include another party because the roads get so bad from flash floods that if I get stuck no one will find me for weeks.and I don't feel like being mummified in this dream :).
