I am easy going person, liberal politically (democrat), spiritually open-minded but not religious, a individualist, creative, expressive, and romantic. I enjoy spending time alone be it for reading or creative pursuits, but I definitely like to spend times with friends. I think to sum I would be best described as the creative philsophical seeker type.

What has bother me the most is the lack of sincerity of some women.the serial daters, those who publish photos which are clearly not representative, who misrepresent their weight, and they who are just looking for flings.

I am most attracted to women with kind expressive eyes and an unaffected, natural beauty. Basically I like the girl next door type. Emotionally I am drawn to women who are feminine, nurturing, playful, expressive, sensual, and tactile; one who has a rich inner world yet is balanced by approachability, and, who like me, values the arts, nature, literature/movies, creativity, and genuine friendship. I enjoy individuality so am not looking for the "barbie" clone, nor am I seeking a materialistic girl. My funniest life experience:

I called a dragonfly to me once that was looking a bit forlorn flying about inside of a building. It actually came to me and landed on my hand. So I walked it outside, and wished it well, and it flew away. Not really all that "funny", but it was a powerful experience to me.

I think I compromise well. I have not always been well off, and I manage my money well, so the compromising between wanting things and being realistic is something I am used to.

I would like to come to know someone in a natural setting, ideally where water is near. I like quiet places that allow for easy conversation, with good food, and good conversation. Compatibility is of course important, a person you can talk to with ease, you is genuinely interested in comining to know you, and who shares openly about their life, their interests, and experiences. It is wonderful when a connection is evident that is so comfortable and natural that you can look deeply into the other's eyes and feel completely at ease. The best dating experience is one where there is smiles, and laughter, quiet and exuberance, the holding of hands, and warm embraces.
