Yes, I moved from my medium-sized hometown and owning a large home in great area to Los Angeles, CA and renting a small apartment with a window cooler, with an ex-fiance. I didn't want to go, but that's where his job was, and I knew that there would be more opportunity for me. I was really scared in the beginning, being away from home, and not knowing anyone. However, I'm a friendly person so I began working and made friends. even eventually became my roommates. And, the rest shall we say.is history!
