The music to which I listen tends to be world music. My favorite band is Elvendrums; they blend instruments, rhythms and vocals from all over the world to give all Otherkin a voice. My favorite music, however, is the music made with others. There just is no comparison to playing a drum or flute with a circle of people and their instruments.

Back in highschool, my son's mother helped me begin learning myself. She had a fearless and ferocious individuality that I wanted. She set an example for me which I altered to fit what was comfortable to me; I continue to learn who I am every day. Often, people tell me that I have a gentle energy which helps others relax in my presence. I am not judgemental and have an interest in what makes others who they are, and who they are is okay even if they won't accept me in return.
