I'm open to having kids with the right woman, but would like them to be from me. Age, isn't really a big thing to me. As long as you are 18. I know some teens who are more mature then some 30yo's. I'm past the party scene though, and am ready, and serious about settling down, so that can become an issue with younger women. As long as you are mature, that's all that matters.
I've never dated anyone older then me, so I don't know about that.

I am a very mentally strong person, so I am always at ease being myself. I'm open to talk about any topic, and I don't really think I have to worry about anything I say or do. If it's distasteful, or disrespectful, I wouldn't say it to start with.
People generally are at ease around me, because I am a very laid back guy. It takes a lot to offend me. I also used to be very shy, so I know what that can be like. Since I've been there before, it's easier for me to understand what it's like, and to try and make it easier for you to open up. I am usually pretty good at inspiring people to achieve, or motivate them towards something they wish to accomplish. I am a very good moral support person, and understand, that there are things that should come before me. I am comfortable enough in myself, where I don't need to be first in someone's life. I am aware that it also tends to put me into a position that you hear about a lot, the whole, "Nice guy's finish last" thing. Sometime though, there will be a woman who appreaciates it, and it will all be worthwhile.

Virtually my entire adult life has been a comprimise. My health has always been questionable, so a lot of the things I really want to do, I have not always been able to do.

I'm a nice, honest guy. If I think there is a chance we could get along, I'm more then willing to meet someone. If I don't think there is a chance that we would get along, I'll tell you that also. I'm not here to play games, I'm here to try and find someone to get to know, and hopefully build a great relationship with. I've met a few people off the net before. I've talked to someone for 5 or 10 minutes before, then went to meet her.

Are you ready to start from scratch?

Without getting into a lot of boring details, I am not where I would like to be in life, so I could fairly easily start over from scratch with someone. At the same time, where I currently am, is a decent start, so if someone wants to continue on from this point, I am able to do that as well. My past is behind me, I try not to look back, only towards the future.

A day in the life of me huh? That's a rough question, because so much of my life is such a day to day basis. 1 day, I can just up and leave for a quick vacation, the next day, I could spend all day in bed. I don't really have an average day.

A wish list.well, my ultimate wish is to get a clear bill of health, don't get me wrong, I'm not terminal or anything like that. I just have a type of Arthri that leaves me in a lot of pain. I figure once I get healthy, I can find the love of my life, as I generally don't have problems meeting people. Or will it be the other way around, the love of my life, will help me to get healthy?
I love to travel, taking spur of the moment road trips. Even if I don't have any money at the time. I'll camp, or sleep in my Suburban, but sometimes, you just have to get away. I'm hoping to take a couple of months and take a long road trip to visit all states except maybe Hawaii.
