I'm a bit of a movie buff. People look at me strange when I start talking about directors and cimematographers, instead of actors, as a reason to see a movie. though there are a few actors and sctresses whose work has been consistently good to me. I like some foreign and art films too. Highlander (director's cut), The Replacement Killers, Labyrinth, Legend, Way Of The Gun, The Professional, Children of Men, Hostel, just about any horror movie and any zombie movie no matter how cheesy, Phantom of the Opera (of course); I always cry at the end, wishing Christine would pick the Phantom instead of her childhood friend, all the Star Wars and Star Trek movies, Romeo Must Die, The Protector, Unleashed, Waiting., Grandma's Boy, Dodgeball, Conan, Bubba-Ho-Tep, Army Of Darkness, Dead Man (the most underated Johnny Depp film of all time), Nig are before Christmas, The Corpse Bride.I could go on.but when you see my dvd collection it will speak for itself.

Music is extemely important to me.as important as cinema, and literature, and art. It contains, expresses, and exemplifies emotionsgood or bad.
I have music from my collection from all over time and genre, from a few Operas, to strange european techno and darkwave, to classic rock and roll, alterntive, modern rock, metal, dark gothy stuffsome of my favorites include Pink Floyd, The Rolling Stones, Bush, Metallica (only up to the black album), Iron Maiden, The Killers, Fallout Boy, Panic At The Disco!, AFI, Tool, Type O Negative, VnV Nation, Apoptygma Berzerk, Jack off Jill, Nightwish, Thirtysecondstomars, The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, Tiger Army, The Used, Chevelle. About the only things I'm not crazy about are Hip Hop and country, but there are exceptions to that rule, like MC Chris, and Johnny Cash. Even If I don't really dig it, it's not like I can't listen to it, appreciate it's artistry.

I value honesty, loyalty, compassion, kindness, a strong spirit. You don't have to be a genius, but the ability to carry on a decent conversation is a must. I've been on dates where I was the only one talking. It makes you feel about 2 inches tall. Being Nonjudgemental is also a must, and possibly a dealbreaker. I'm all that I've listed above, with a dark/sarcastic sense of humor, a good wit. I try never to judge somebody based on their appearance or quirks, but try to look inside and see what else is there. I have known beautiful girls who were dead and cruel inside and to me they were disgusting, and I have known average or plain girls whose spirit and kindness gave them a beauty no model could live up to.

My perfect date? I'm a romantic, so probably not like many of the dates you've been on before. It doesn't matter whether we're at a movie, a concert, dinner, or just hanging out; I'm there for you, not the other way around. I like to take care of a girl, not in the neanderthal sense, but to listen to her needs, her dreams, help them come true as much as I can. I've had people say I'm in touch with my feminine side. I don't know if I'd go that far; but I'm not emotionally void like most guys I know.

I'm trying to get a writing career off the ground. I've got the framework and research done for two novels. I've just been lazy about actually starting them.lol. The thing I would like to try the most in the future though, is love. There have been times when I thought I had it, but except for a few fleeting romances, I have yet to experience a true connection, and the feeling leaves me somehow incomplete.
