I frequently compromise whether I like it or not. One instance was when my roommate and I were picking out furniture and although I didn't want brown, we compromised on it.

I've met a lot of really great people on the Internet. I do like to have fun, but if I met that special someone, I would be happy about it. I think it's a matter of being the right person rather than meeting the right person. Meeting my last life partner would be wonderful but if that doesn't happen, I'm just fine the way I am. I'm a mature person and feel very fortunate that I have the life I do.

I've pretty much cleaned up all my "stuff" at this point - mostly the death of my husband.

My typical day:

A perfect date experience for me would be one wherein he and I had a "real" connection.
My day starts early. Since I work for myself, there's no telling what it will bring and I just have to deal with whatever comes up. No problem. I quit around 5 to 6 (actually, my brain just quits for me) and then I like to relax with friends, or be a couch potato and perhaps watch a movie.

Seeing parts of Europe, Hawaii. Write a book. Really, really fall in love. I've actually done a lot of things but I'll make an effort to see what else I can come up with.
