I am a positive, outgoing woman. I love to laugh and am a loyal friend and lover. I am also an honest person and expect honesty in return. I love my home and spoil my man. I don't tolerate jealousy, as it is poison to the system.but since I am loyal, I give no legitimate reason for jealousy. I can be brutally honest at timesas I prefer that for myself. Would much prefer being hurt by the truth than a lie. Liars and thieves are the lowest of low, a lesson heeded from my wonderful, beloved and now deceased Dad.

Their negative outlook on life, being judgmental, jealous. Most importantly, I won't tolerate abuse verbal, mental or physical. I also hate bickering, would much rather spend my days with laughter and lively friendly conversation, or lovely comfortable silencesimply good companionship. Another biggie is that I believe each of us are responsible for ourselves. I don't want to be a man's "Mom". I want my man to step to the plate and deal, without the need of me telling him the obvious. Also, I love my cats & we are a package deal. They are my "kids", as I don't have any children.

I was in Aruba with my ex-husband, sister and her husband. We were all in the pool and unbeknownst to me, they were betting how long before I would strike up a conversation with a stranger. I started talking to a woman in the pool and they were all laughing their butts off. I believe the record was 2 minutes! lol Hey, I love people, love to talk and laugh and I have a curious mind. So sue me! Pfft! lol

Depends what mood I'm in. I like Southern Rock, Hard Rock, Blues, some "alternative", classical music at times it is soothing. My favorite groups are Pink Floyd, Allman Brothers, Led Zep, Moody Blues, Eric Clapton, Old Rolling Stones, Aerosmith, The Boss, Metallica, Stevie Ray Vaugh, Joe Satriani, Steve Vai, Ry Cooder, Pearl Jam, Guns n Roses, Creed, Nickelback, Linkin Park, Coldplay, Lifehouse, Goo Goo Dolls, Foo Fighters, Velvet Revolver, Goo Goo Dolls, Evanescence, Melissa Etheridge, Bonnie Raitt, k.d. Lang, Janis Joplin, Jimi Hendrix and whomever else catches my interest at the time. Also like a few country songs Loved Patsy Cline & Johnny Cash & Hank Williams, Sr. great song writer My dad's fav. Oh Kris Kristofferson! Am diversified as to music. Love Isley Brothers and I loved Marvin Gaye, too. I hate rap, though. Gives me a headache! I did like some of the early rap. Dangerous Minds, etc. Stuff that actually had music and meaningful "words" and not just crap trashing woman, etc. Liked the Areosmith one with I forget the rap group. I do like SOME of the hip-hop (Black-Eyed Peas), and have been hearing some rap lately that is okay too. Guess I am just an ole hippie and need to be more open-minded and give it chance! LOL Oh like some reggae too. Like I said.am pretty diversified in my taste in music. Love to be turned on to new groups and new sounds. Live with a musician and have been around music and bands my whole life.so am pretty open to new stuff. But have to say.my generation had the best rock music ever! ;-) Btw, just discovered MOJO on the HD cable have caught some awesome rock shows: Syd Barret Story, Making of Darkside of the Moon, Rush (WOW) and recently Lynrd Skynrd.

Total, unconditional acceptance both ways! And honesty! No jealousy either way. I try to be 'kind' on a daily basis. But as we are human here, am a "work in process;! Learn more about myself each day. Try very hard to be the best "me" I can be. Catch myself being intolerant of those who are "intolerant" kind of ironic! Working on that one too. Have learned alot from my BOM experience.

Absolutely. Compromise is important in all aspects of life, as long as you don't compromise your own personal belief system. I believe in "live and let live", as long as no harm is done to another person! And "forgiveness" in any type of relationship is important. We are all just human here! As to a big mistake on BOM when I joined and didn't have my man, I fell into the "flirting" thing early on. No more. I cannot abide "players and phonies" and that tends to draw them. Please NO INSTANT FRIEND INVITATIONS AND I DO NOT DO S.EX CHATS, EVER!! Am here for friends only. Be real with me and you will get that back from me!

My typical day:

Every day is a new day. I just go with the flow and try to accept the good and bad situations in life, try to deal with them in a way that will teach me the lessons of life and not gripe about the poor me's , etc. I avoid toxic people and energy vampires. Unfortunately, there are alot of "evil" people out there, but also beautiful people too! My cats are the joy of my life! My babies!! Hence my "Cat Lady of Bom" label! lol Am currently back with my man of 5 1/2 years. We are trying to make this thing work. We've come through alot together and grown together. This is my last "try". If this time it doesn't work out, I will settle with simply being alone with my cats and be "The Crazy Cat Lady Down the Street"! Time will tell, but going into it with a positive attitude. I love my BOM friends very much. I have met many and the experience has been wonderful.

Look forward to seeing much more of the U.S. and making more BOM meets. The Dallas/Forth Worth meet in July 07 was a blast & my first time in Texas. Got to meet and hug for real some old friends.and also my newer ones. Denise,Rick,Matt,Robert,Robin,Lisa,Bernie and Renee, and a nonbommer Mikah ALL some fantastic Texans, that's for sure! That DFW Meet will remain a very special memory for me that's a certainty! I'd also love to visit AZ and NM, one day. The beautiful Western states are among my wish list to visit, also. Loved Northern California & want to visit Southern California. Also Europe. Have always wanted to see Ireland, Scotland, England, Italy and Greece-which look beautiful! Plus I have wonderful BOM friends in nearly all areas mentioned. I'd so love to return to Aruba-my fav island vacation! Such a lovely climate with the constant wind and friendly islanders. Liked it better than PR, St. Thomas and St. Croixalthough those vacations were fun, also. I guess my "wish list" is to travel sites I haven't seen or re-visit ones I loved. I love America and hope to see as much of it as I can and meet as many bommers at meets, that I can. One meet at a time! Now have many BOM friends I've met in person and value their friendship so very much. Love you guys!!! Muuahh!!! Other than travel my wish is to learn to play the piano before my time here is up! These fingers are fast typing. NOW if I can just learn to read music! lol
