I want someone I can trust. I want them to be as honest as they can be and tell me like it is. I need a caring, loving woman who will stand up for herself. I want her to have the eggs to tell me I'm being an Idiot yet have the heart to do it in a way that doesn't make me feel like one.

I like anything that has something to say. I'm a Bob Dylan, Bruce Springsteen kinda guy. I was raised in the Supertramp, Journey, The Who era. Pretty much anything goes as long as it's positive to some respect. I freaking love the Symphany/Rock thing. I saw The Moody Blues with the Milw. Symph and it was great. From there on out I've loved anyone else who's done it. Metallica gets a hats off from me for it's effort with the big band.
I love the old MoTown stuff too. You know the O'Jays, Temptations and The Box Tops. I mix that stuff into my everyday listening as well as a lot of todays stuff.

I listen! I care about helping someone solve a problem. If someone can just be honest and have some type of compassion, I'm pretty happy. I'm at ease with someone who doesn't take life to serious but knows when to be down to earth common sense goes a long way with me. I'd like her to have her own interests as well as independence. I don't want anyone having to give something up, that makes them happy, to be around me.

Are you willing to compromise in difficult times and situations?

I've compromised more than I should have I guess. I imagine that's why I'm alone right now. It just seems to me that if you treat a woman the way you should, you get stepped on. The guys that treat them like crap are the ones the women can't leave. "He treats me so bad but I love him so much." Just kills me. My God . How do you deal with that? Nice guys get treated like trash. I've compromised myself right out of realationships.
I believe there's a win/win outcome for every situation. I won't go against my priciples to save a relationship I try to live my life morally sound, creating value in whatever I do. If I don't have to compromise morals or principles, I'm pretty easy to get along with. I do what is best for the welfare of the relationship.

I'm pretty serious. I would like to meet someone I'm attracted to. Someone who has some of the same principles and interests I have. I've met one person on line but feel you need to be careful. One thing I've found is it seems easy for others to be someone they're not on here. That's why I can't chat in a chat room. Everyone seems to be trying to be someone they aren't even close to being. I don't have that kind of time to waste.

I haven't been in a serious relationship in a while. Starting from scratch is the only way to build a relationship. My past is behind me. I don't really look back too much except to learn from previous mistakes. I'm all about the future. I'm all about making the future better, for myself and everyone.

My perfect date experience ey? U let's see. I love water being by it, being on it or having it in site. I guess my perfect date would be a romantic dinner on a balcony on the coast somewhere followed by a moonlight walk on the beach.

I want to see some of the world before it's too late. Being an American scares the heck right out of me going anywhere over seas. Don't get me wrong. I love being an American and would die for my country if need be. I just don't want some idiot blowing up the plane I'm on because of some religious difference. So tell me . . .How does Holy and War go together anyway? I always thought I would like to jump from a plane at one point in life. The older I get now it doesn't seem like a smart thing to do. Maybe that goes back to my last point about traveling abroad as an American . . .I don't know. I'd like to train and play in a competitive golf event. I'd love to play a round of golf with Tom Watson, Phil Mickelson and Fred Couples making up the foursome. Maybe that wouldn't be such a good idea after all because you would never be able to shut me up about it.
