Very little has bothered me about people I've known in the past. The only thing that ever saddened me was the inability to remain faithful and loving followed by the inability to then be honest about it. It takes 2 people to make a relationship work . . . and it does take constant work . . . but is so worth it in the end!!!!

I don't mind someone who is slightly shy or introverted. Likewise, I don't mind an extrovert. Children can be a definite plus and grandchildren a gift from God!!!! (I love grandchildren!) I would like someone with a positive attitude and a happy outlook on life! I hope this man is loving and capable of loving my family as well as his. Faithfulness is a must, but I promise to be faithful as well. And a boyish grin and a wicked wink are nice added bonuses!!!!

My funniest life experience:

I suppose the funniest experience was when I was reaching for my degree and I lost my balance and fell in front of an auditorium full of people. Was afraid it would happen, and it did! The reason why I found it so embarrassing and funny was they were extolling what they considered my considerable virtues, and I couldn't even walk across the stage to grab my degree!

Too many to mention! All of the Harry Potter movies and the Lord of the Ring series. I loved "Elizabeth" and other English historical movies. "Tale of Cities", "While You Were Sleeping", "Sleeping With The Enemy", "The 13th Warrior", "Braveheart", "Brigadoon" and many, many more!

I like just about any music. However, as a youth was training to be a concert pianist so I love classical music and Chopin is my favorite composer. But I love Celtic music and jazz (my brother was a terrific jazz trombonist!) . . . truly just about anything other than rapp!

I respond to gentleness and patience. Kindness and compassion put me at ease. And a romantic nature makes me romantic as well. I'm understanding and patient, but also love to laugh and kid people that I'm close to, and find it makes them feel comfortable around me. I have met a few people off the internet, but for the most part I met people in work-related situations that were not good for developing personal relationships. I have nothing to put behind me before starting a new relationship. And I am willing to start from scratch with someone, and am hopefully looking for a new beginning, because every new relationship truly does require a new start and the ability to "go with the flow"!

My typical day:

I usually jog with my dog, Maxx either early in the morning or later in the evening. Since it's safer in the daylight, I do make an effort for it to be in the morning. Afterwards, I shower and get ready for work. I work for at least 8 hours a day . . . sometimes much more! Then I either go out for a light supper, or I go home to cook myself something light to eat. I usually follow a Pilates workout on TV and then watch something that I want to watch. Often I talk to friends on the phone and plan meals together or some sort of entertainment. Then I shower and get ready for bed. I often read before sleeping. On weekends instead of working I usually go on an outing with a friend might be shopping, or going to a movie, or going for a long walk . . . I do many different things!

I have done many of the things that I've wanted to do. Love scuba diving, built a home on a lake. Would love to travel to places I haven't been and would love to see the history other countries have to offer. I'm very open to new suggestions and ideas and ready for adventures that someone else loves. There is very little I'm afraid of . . . except great white sharks and mako's!
