I dont follow the group concensus unless it it meets with how I really feel. I am compassionate, empathetic, and funny. I usually find some obsurd statement that pertains to the moment and make a joke, usually not in bad taste, and it more often than not gets a laugh and breaks the ice. If that fails, I dont have a problem listening, I then try it again. If that fails well, some days Im at my best if I dont say much. Listening is key.
