This site has so many shallow and self centered people that I get tired of navigating through the trash. I guess that what I should be looking for is friendships with people who have a solid moral grounding. At least that will get me closer to people who live in the real world.

It's like this. I am a single dad with young girls. I haven't spent much time watching anything but kids movies. I have seen movies like Meet the Parents/Fockers, Starskie & Hutch, Hitch. I like commedies.

I love many types of music. I don't care much for rap although I have heard 1 or 2 rap songs that I could deal with . very rare though. I play the drums and like a good solid beat which is what you'll hear with most classic rock songs. I play drums in a Christian band. I like to give the music a nice solid grove and it's a great place for my children to see me play without the bar seen or whatever.

I haven't yet met anyone from this site but I am willing to try. As a single parent I try to keep my priorities straight. Taking care of my children is my goal, it's my responsibility. Finding that (special someone) will happen someday but I won't put my kids in the back seat.
