I am a 59 year old semi-retired professional golfer. I have just returned to the United States, after having lived in Europe for the past ten years, where I played and taught golf. I have traveled extensively, I have been most every place there are golf courses. I love the game of golf, because it is in many ways the same as life. If you believe you can make a shot, you can, but if you doubt it, you can't. Negative thinking always produces negative results in golf and in life. I have over many years taught myself to always be optimistic, to always believe I will get the results I need. I think this is what the Bible verse means that says "as a man thinketh so is he".
