Opening up is hard to do, especially when you've put your whole heart, mind, body and soul into a relationship or a friendship, only to be stepped on, ridiculed, used and mistreated. People tell me all the time that they are different, they are not like everyone else. I haven't been able to find anyone who has been able to prove me wrong yet. The only people you need in your life are the ones that prove they need you in theirs. I believe everything happens for a reason. People change so that you can learn to let go, things go wrong so that you can learn to appreciate them when they're right, you believe lies so that you can eventually learn to trust no one but yourself, and sometimes good things fall apart so better things to fall together.

I think that everyone is looking for the same qualities in a partner or friend. Everyone wants the "heaven sent" type partner. I just don't want any demons in my life. God knows I have enough of problems with the devil as it is. I want to be with people who are like me. fun loving, not afraid to express themselves, not afraid to be seen with me in public. and someone who thinks about me when he's not with me and looks forward to spending time with me when he's not around.

My funniest life experience:

I'm a jokester. I put a play mouse in a box of cookies that my friend had on her work desk. She grabbed a hand full of cookies and was stuffing it in her mouth, then realized she had a mouse's tail hanging from her hand. Now that was funny. I don't care what what anyone else says. That was funny. OH and one more thing. when I was planning my wedding, We made my brother in law think he was gonna have to wear a light blue or a green tuxedo with one of those ruffled shirts. til the day before the wedding. That was his initiation into our "group" But that joke lasted for about 3 months (I thought my sister and her husband were going to get a divorce before it was over with).

I never want anyone to feel uncomfortable around me. I always want people to feel at peace when they are with me, reguardless of what's going on in their life. I want people to feel they can talk to me about anything, whether it's something fun, or serious. And If I see there's a way, I'm gonna try making lighter of the situation.

I always compromise in every situation. Relationship/Friendships always has compromises. In order for anything to work, you're gonna have to give and take, and be strong and supportive for every situation.

Right now, I'm not sure exactly what I want. I've had my share of bad experiences of meeting guys online. I've had my share of bad relationships period. I'm feeling hurt and used right now from a previous situation, but i'm not looking to use anyone for a rebound. That would be just wrong.

There are a lot of things in my life I want to put behind me and move on. A lot of people tell me I'm still dwelling on my past. But it seems that my past is what's made me who I am today. And right now, it's the only thing I know. I know that not everyone is alike, and everyone is different. But when people start telling me that, a red flag goes up. I'm always willing to do what I have to do, but I'm also being very cautious. Just know that I'm always gonna be curious about motives at first, but don't take that personally. Just get to know me first.

Hmm I haven't really been on that many dates to really know what a perfect date would be, other than just enjoying each other's company, and being able to go home afterwards with a smile on your face, knowing that you put a smile on his face, and having the excited feeling of knowing there's gonna be another day tomorrow.
