I have been divorced for 20 years. Survived the child rearing years, have dated and had some short term relationships which lasted at least a couple of years each. I am mature enough to know the past is just that "the past" but also aware enough to know when a person or relationship does not match. If each can respect the diversity I do not see a deterent to a strong friendship. It is great when a connection actually exists.

I am an independent woman who would like to develop new friendships and if some chemistry happens along the way that would be great. I work full-time, am a homeowner and share my home with my housemate Miss Kitty. After moving to St. Louis I made the error of a allowing my job to ingulf to much time and energy which did not permit establishing or expanding my social circle. It is time to get out and expand so I hope to make some new acquaintances and develop some long term friendships.
