On dates in the past I haven't been happy when the person I am with wants to talk mostly about her. She wants all the attention and doesn't make any attempt at getting to know me. With friends I have had a hard time being around people that are negative. I try to always be positive and so being around negativity is against who I am.

The biggest trait that has always helped me to be myself is when someone smiles alot. And this is not just a regular smile, but a genuine they mean it smile. The kind that shows on their face and in their eyes.

Are you willing to compromise in difficult times and situations?

I am willing to compromise when I feel that compromising will do good. Unfortunately with some people you give them an inch and they will take a mile. It is my hope to find someone who I can truly compromise with and not get taken advantage of.
My wife was very antisocial. She didn't appreciate friendships like I do. She was always threatened by my friendships and got mad often with them. I had to compromise and limit my friendships and especially who I became friends with to have peace with my wife.

I am always willing to meet new people. It is my hope to hook up and have at least friendships with if not relationships from the local people I can meet on here. Work and school don't allow me to get out very often so having this site as a connection would be a major convenience.

I am currently ready to start a new life with the right person. I am in the middle of my divorce but that is not stopping me from meeting people and possibly developing relationships. My marriage is completely over and there is no chance that I would ever go back to that life.
