I've been told I'm very outgoing, kind, considerate and caring. I am a talker and although am not a joker or life of the party type, I really enjoy conversation more on a one on one basis. Most of all I would like to think of myself as a good listener and a considerate caring person.

Things that have bothered me:

I found that it takes a year to get to know someone. You need to experience all the 4 seasons with them before you can come to a conclusion about your total feelings. I've found that people are on their "best behavior" initially, but sometimes after time the negative side starts to show. I feel that people in many cases are caught up in their sexual desires, rather then their true inner feelings about their mate. Sex is of the upmost importance to me, but feelings I believe are much more important. I was married twice. My second wife was fantastic in bed, but out of bed a real horror. You most definetly need both, friendship, caring, trust and of course intimacy without these ingedients you do not have a true relationship.

Someone who cares for their fellow man, has a desire for life and wants to explore life to the fullest. Someone who takes pride in themself as well as others and don't forget chemistry. I believe chemistry is a very important thing. It's not about being a Ken or Barbie doll, but there has to be some physical attraction.

I guess I've had many funny experiences, but for the life of me cannot think of anything I could mention here if you know what I mean.

Like most guys I guess I've always been interested in action movies, crime dramas etc. I did like Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid but also remember "
The Sound of Music" to be interesting. There are many, many movies, and the two I mentioned are not particularly my favorites. They just kind of kept my interest over the years. The Wizard of Oz is a classic in my mind. What can I say, different times, different movies.

In general I like the oldies, older country but really like Folk Music. I'm not so much into the newer type of music, but lean towards the older groups, from the 50's and 60's. They bring back the memories.

The quality traits I admire the most are compassion, caring and giving. I believe one of the main reasons for our being is to help others and kindness goes along way. My motto "do unto others as you would have others do unto you" This is extremely prevalent in a relationship. It's all about love, without it what's it worth anyway. In order to receive love you must learn to give love. I have been fortunate enough to have several close friends and especially my mother whom along the way expressed these traits, which in my youth I learned to admire the most. Thanks to all of you!

I feel this is one of my better assets. I've always been one to try to see the other persons point of view.In doing so it's much easier to understand their feelings.

I'm very willing. I love meeting others and would eventually like to meet someone I truly care for and can have a loving relationship with. I have met others over the internet before. I enjoy it, but like many others am still searching.

Are you ready to start from scratch?

I'm ready right now. Although I believe dating can be trying at times. Whats the alternative, staying home and being lonely? We all need love in our lives and I feel I won't give up until I find it.

My typical day:

Actually I like things to be somewhat casual. If I had my perfect experience it would be in a tropical setting, sipping an exotic drink and having small talk with someone whom I am both attracted to as well interested in for their mind and personality. All along the ocean would be rolling onto the shore. I believe the ocean is very serence and can be unpredictable at times. Much like a woman which I find intriguing about the female gender. I love it!

I don't consider myself foolhardy and would not be interested in trying out anything dangerous, ie, skydiving, bungee jumping etc. I really love travel and although I would love to visit Europe, I am more inclinded towards places such as Austrailia, New Zealand, swimming in the Great Barrier Reef, and living on a yacht and traveling to a desert tropical island. I do love adventure and find exploring new things most rewarding.
