Alcohol, drugs and poor attitudes. I spent 13 years in law enforcement and dealt with all facets of life. I was a Criminal Investigator for 7 of those years and saw too much of the bad side of life. I lost my wife due to my job
and never remarried. I am bothered by anyone who dwells on their decisions that
turned out bad. I feel you learn by your mistakes and put them behind you.
I can't accept abusive people.

I am looking for a personality like:

My Grandfather was my mentor, idol and best friend. I was born in his house and
the bond stayed strong up to his passing. He taught me many things I have never
forgotten. How to be humble, how to do Electronic Repairs. He was always there
for me and this quality I have carried thru with towards my kids.
A lady in my life, a good friend, nothing more, used to talk to me all the time
about life experiences she had, she was much older than I, I used to be her
handy-boy as I was only 10 yrs old. She gave me insight into what a women wants
from a relationship. From a woman's standpoint, she taught me to be considerate
caring, patient and much more. I finaly realize now what she was instructing me
to be. I am carring, understanding, a fighter to protect my loved ones.
I will listen for hours and only give advise I am sure of.
I have experienced alot of trauma in my life and from this, I have gained some
insight and strength that I will share.

Are you willing to compromise in difficult times and situations?

I am not a real Compromising person. I will with family, my loved one and
some friends.
I had a girlfriend in Tennessee who was a beautiful creature, she left her
husband shortly after my divorce, she and I were friends, I was a Bouncer in their restaurant. She called me after the break up and wanted to go for coffee
and talk. We started dating, and she hated to see me stay a Bouncer, I worked
at a Night Club as Head Bouncer and and there were plenty of fights.
She was afraid I was going to get seriously hurt and she did not want to deal
with the fear. I loved my work and got paid well, so I went out and bought a
bullet proof vest and protective gloves and when I showed her the goodies, I
explained I couldn't give up my job, but I would wear the gear. She laughed at me and told me I was a stubborn mule, but she'd accept it if I promised to wear the protective clothes. Believe it or not, That was a hard deal to follow
thru with. Did I compromise? Hell yes, in my mind.

I am very serious about meeting someone, I have conversed a little with a few
here, but nothing advanced so far
I have never met anyone from thr internet, but I have some great friends on
another site.

I am looking for a scratch relationship, I feel that destiny and fate play a
big role in our lives and I really feel destiny is pre-conceived by a force
much stronger than mortal humans.
There is nothing I have to finish to start anew, all I ask is my Grandchildren
stay a part of our life.

My typical day:

I am a strong willed person. I don't act, accept or want to be 66 years old.
I am retired and take time to do what I want. I love Flea-Markets, auctions
yard sales and garage sales. I am a repo man and stay very active with this.
I am transporting vehicles as well. I lost my son 12/25/ to suicide, and
have been trying to find peace, it hasn't and won't come. I have his children
who keep me here. I had raised him alone since he was 7. God gave me 37 years
with him, it was not nearly enough. I take a day at a time and fight the grief
every moment.

I would like to have a relationship I can stay comfortable with for my remaining years. I have learned some hard lessons and feel I could be a good mate. My wish is to see my Grandchildren finish school and help keep them
on the right track.
