Far too many. I've been told I should write a book!! The one that sticks in my mind the most is being discovered by a man and a boy who were fishing while I was leisurily floating along at night, skinny dipping, in the Applegate River, no place to hide and a full moon. I've often wondered what the man explained to the boy! Are mermaids real?? Do they really swear??

Mysteries with a good twisting plot or comedies that are truly funny. No sci-fi or bloody thrillers. There's enough of that in the world without paying to watch it! I enjoy the old classics like Gone With the Wind, a few John Wayne movies with Maureen O'Hara and my all time old favorite The Unsinkable Molly Brown.

I enjoy listening to and playing blues, jazz, some of the good old rock n' roll, big band, classic country, bluegrass and Southern Rock. It just depends on my mood at the moment. I started playing the violin at age 4 and the drums at age 7, and have played with different symphonies and bands. As a drummer, my favorite music is blues, classic country, 50's and 60's rock n' roll, and southern rock.

If someone is to succeed at mostly anything and especially a relationship, compromise has to happen. However I will never compromise my core values of honesty and respect for myself or others. I'm a lover, not a fighter, not a whiner, reach a resolution even if it's to agree that we disagree, and move on. Those who harbor grudges or anger are merely hurting themselves with their own negative unhealthy feelings and I shy completely away from that.

My perfect date experience would be discovering the man I'm with is igniting those sparks, that chemistry that must be felt by both, then making plans to meet again. From the time I get up till the time I go to bed, I keep very light-hearted and uncluttered with with trivial matters. The necessary things are done most of the time early so the rest of the day is what I want to do and what I make of it. Being a spontaneous person, however, some of the necessary matters can wait till later as long as they are done. Life is too precious to keep a rigid schedule. I want the time to stop to smell the roses. During the day at some point, I can be found in the sun by the water either in it or on it, or out with my camera. I'm just missing that man in my life to enjoy it all with, whether his interests or my interests or better yet, things that interest us both!
