I am almost always happy. I smile a lot. Some would say I'm dramatic because I can tell and act out a story in detail. I tend to talk a lot when I'm nervous, but once I realize I'm doing it, I go back to my normal calm self.

What bothers me most about some of the men I've dated is when they are deceitful or not totally honest. I'd much prefer knowing up front so that I can better deal with something.

I am looking for a mature man who knows what he likes and what he doesn't; one who isn't afraid to be honest, and he MUST have nice teeth. I prefer men who are not fat, tho a few extra pounds is fine. I do like tall men, but as long as they are a few inches taller than me, that's okay too. I tend to dislike blonde men, preferring those with dark hair, but grey or salt and pepper works too.

Years ago when wigs for women were a fad, I tucked my own hair into one and went bowling with my friends. When I tossed the ball I slipped and fell. The wig went flying down the alley. It was so funny that I almost peed my pants.

I LOVE music and musicians. I don't care for hard rock and can't tolerate rap, but oldies, soft rock, country/western and even some reggae is great.
My favorite singers/groups: Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Elvis Presley, Elton John, George Strait, Michael Jackson, anything by pianist Jim Brickmanthe Beatles, all the old Doo Wop groups. oh the list goes on and on.

I am easy to get along with and most everyone feels comfortable being around me right away. I like a person who will take time to see beneath the exterior, get to know me. If they have a good personality and can make me laugh, I am more able to open up to them.

I'm always willing to compromise. One experience: Normally, I like to stay in on New Years Eve, but while in the Caribbean, I wanted to go join the festivities on shore and experience the "jump ups" and steel drum bands. My sig other wanted to stay onboard our sailboat. I relented and sat in the pit at midnight listening to all the celebrations going on around us. I didn't mind that much.

A day in the life of me? Well, after my morning mile, it's coffee and cereal, a shower and I'm off to the office. After work, I stop to visit my dad who is in a nursing home, then it's dinner and television, or out with friends. I live a quiet, simple lifeand I like it that way.
