That's right, I'm a work in progress; aren't we all?  I like who I am, am comfortable in my own skin, yet still know I can be a better person.

I'm a city boy now, but grew up in the country and still enjoy being out in nature.  There was nothing like the smell of a freshly plowed field, the forest, or rain on concrete on a summer morning.  I enjoy sports (playing and watching), a walk in the park, and a hobby I've taken up recently; photography.

I'm a big Blue Jackets fan, even though they can't seem to make the playoffs.  I'm loyal, sometimes to a fault.  Baseball, football (college and pro), and college basketball are the other big sports I like.  I follow golf, as well as the America's Cup.  Have never sailed, but would love to learn how!  I do golf, well, at least that's what I call what I do.

My family and friends are extremely important to me, and are a big part of my life.  I like making new friends, and believe that you can never have too many.

I really like listening to live music & love to dance.  My current favorite type of music to listen to is Celtic / Irish.  Traditional or rock, it really doesn't matter.  It really speaks to me.  But, I do love most types of music, in general.

Love dogs, and animals in general.

I enjoy good craft-brewed beer, and am a pretty good homebrewer.  One of my recipes has been on tap at Barley's.  A good single malt scotch is a thing of beauty, as is the occasional glass of wine.  They're even better with someone to enjoy them with.  Same thing with cooking; I like to cook, but love to cook for / with someone else.

I think laughter really IS the best medicine, and I'm not afraid to laugh at myself.  Life's too short to be serious all of the time, don't you think?

I'm an avid reader, when I have the time.  Mostly military history, science fiction and fantasy.  Lately, it's been some amazing books by Ray Kurzweil, about the convergence of humanity and technology.  Incredible stuff.

I'd like to find someone to share this journey through life, and it's experiences.

I'm looking for that special someone, just like everyone else.  But, maybe more importantly, I want to BE that someone special in return.
