Being myself dosen't take any coaxing. I am a funny, caring and compassionate guy who's a good listener. I'm laid back and try to make whoever I'm with feel comfortable so they can be themselves! I accept anyone and their tendencies. I don't like drama, stress, head games or liars! Life is way too short for ANY of them. Honesty is a mainstay as well because it's much better to hurt someone with the truth now than scar them with a lie they may find out about later. I always try to be politically correct, but sometimes my opinions and views aren't.

Compromise is sometimes a must. I'll lobby my stance and opinion, but always listen to the other side and can admit freely when it makes more sense. But, people who think they're right really piss off those of us who are-lol!

I'll drive to meet someone if it's not cross-country. If it's a really long distance between us, I'd hope she offers to meet at least close to half way on the first date or so. If we hit it off well and a relationship starts, then I'd be willing to make the entire trip! I am definately here to find that special woman! I have met for dates off the internet, and like the commercials have some real horror stories.

I have no significant other at this time. No baggage here! I've been alone for almost a year and threw the baggage overboard long ago. I'm sure it rests on the bottom by now! I wish to find a woman who'll come into my world (or allow me into hers) and if things are right, figure out who needs to sell their house-lol!

My typical day:

A perfect date would leave us both smiling at the end no matter what put them there and leaving us both anticipating our next contact! I live in Willis, but work and stay in Houston during the week (when I'm not on the road, which isn't much.) A day in the life. Up at 6:00. At work by 7:30. Work until 4:30-5:30. Back to the hotel for free "dinner" and happy hour. Surf the net or hang out by the pool (depending on who's out there). In bed by 9-9:30 and watch a little -tube, then crash by 10:30. Unless someone has a better idea, then anything's possible! Weekends are better!

I'd like to try sky and scuba diving sometime! The problem with sky diving is that I do have a little height anxiety. I never used to and wonder why it suddenly creeped up on me. I mean, even a ferris wheel brings serious anxiousness to me. I'd love to sell my house in Willis and move somewhere closer to Houston, but Harris County (where Houston is) has an outrageously high property tax rate! I would like to try my hand at Texas Hold-'em poker as I'm pretty good at it, but you have to have a serious bank roll behind you in case you don't win to still be able to pay the bills!!!
