I'd love to be with someone with a full, true laugh, who has a good sense of humor and isn't afraid to talk, whether it be about themselves or other things going on in the world. Someone you can tell is truly being who they are and not pretending to be someone they're not, or saying only what you want to hear. Someone who is easy going and knows how to unwind and relax. I try always to just be me, and know how to listen but can talk easily to just about anyone. I'm not one to sweat the small things, and I always love a guy who does those little things some men forget about.

I've 'met' and met quite a few people online and in person. I'm honest from the beginning and expect the same, so I rarely have had any problems with meeting guys and gals offline. In fact, I've got a lot of friends from here and even people I've gone further than simple friendship with. They are still a part of my world, in one way or another.

I recently moved on from my last 'starting from scratch' guy. Either he wasn't as ready for a relationship as I am and I'm just not up to being a momma to a guy I'm seeing!! So, I guess you could say it's back to me and my son but I'm not going to give up on love. For now I'm content but I sure would be more content with a special someone in my life!

I'm not one to believe in perfect. Perfect is an individual view. My days can be quiet or full of family and friends. Dates these days tend to be with my current guy but I love a quiet place where we can talk, get to know each other, but not so isolated we feel awkward. A dinner at a nice restaurant, or an afternoon outing to a art display in the park. Anywhere we both can warm up to each other and get comfortable.I think these types of outings are great for a date or simply getting to know a new friend!

I'd love to be at a point in the future where I have a house with a garden, and a pool, where I can create a little spot of heaven. I've wanted to get my poetry published for a long time or create a website that entails it and helpful advice about almost anything. My life has taken some hits in the past few years, and I need to find something where I can be creative and also have a way to bring more of an income, so I'd like to get a digital camera and start taking photos. I've done those of me and my son and would like to see how much further I could take it.
