My dad had triple bypass surgery a few years ago and for a moment I got scared he would die. While he was recovering I apoligized to him for being a pain in the ass a teenager etc. I asked him how come he never once raised a hand to set me straight and he replied if it made me feel better he would knock the crap out of me right then and there.
