My funniest life experience:

I live in this great loft on a Downtown Square. One night we heard what sounded like man breathing deeply in the rafters. Scared. So we grabbed my doggie, Whiski and ran down the stairs. Standing outside at 2am on the downtown square in a shirt and panties. Called the police. Three cop cars swarm the building and they take off through my loft and went over the whole roof. In a about 45 minutes (we are still in our shirt and panites, standing downtown) they come back and say "Miss, we did not hear or see anyone". I asked them if they would come up with us so we could get some clothes, we are going to a hotel. I know what we heard. So a cop comes upstairs with me and as we get to the top, I stop and I hear the man breathing again. I ask him if he hears it. He said yes and motioned for me to be quiet. He radios his buddy. Off they go, guns drawn, through the loft again. In a few minutes he says, Miss can you come here? I go into the little kitchen and he says chuckling, "Do you hear that?" I said yes. He said it is the wind blowing against the windows in the skylight. Haha. Ok so we were just a couple of hysterical women. But who would pass up a night filled with hot cops coming to our rescue? Smile, this is a true story. LOL

Completely. I have been on my own now for a year and I am ready to get my feet wet.

My typical day:

I am a night owl and I stay up until 2 or 3am then get up at 6 or 7am for work. I talk to my kiddo's daily. Even though they are grown. We are very close and I am proud that they live their own lives to the beat of their own drums. I did not raise conventional adults. What does that say about me? Yes. Not conventional. Love to read, travel near and far, hole in the wall places and discovering new ones. The Fountain Head, Atlus Shrugged, Alas Babylon and The Razors Edge are wonderful books. Along with many memoirs, new writers, anything Irish. Currently reading the Baghavad Gita. This one is a challenge. And I thought I understood Karma!
