so there i was on a boat in the philippines with my younger brother.
we had just lost our last $35 on a bad dice roll in an alley behind the fish market when a small bald fat man with an eye patch and only 2 teeth approached us and asked for a dollar. we dismissed the beggar with hardly hought until we heard the click as the hammer was drawn back on his revolver. with a crooked grin, he forced us ahead of him and led us to a ramshackle dock on the outskirts of town. There, he forced us to row his dinghy to an old boat anchored 2 miles offshore.
