People compromise everyday in some way. Hmm hardest compromise. When my home burned down and then I broke my back. I lost complete control of my life. Talk about a compromise. Wheew. I just wanted to go home but it took over a year and every thing was a compromise then. Did I want too. N way.

My whole life is from scratch. I walked away with the clothes on my back after the fire. I have a nice little house now and a new family of pets. It's not the same but it is a beginning. I am friends with my ex. 8 years out of that. No baggage there. I still have night mares and each day I grow a little. You know how that is. one step forward, two steps back. Then a couple steps forward and wow before you know it your walking again. Don't skip or run, ya could trip on your own feet. Duh.

My typical day:

I am pretty much an easy going person. It's been hectic for a while. Found my best friend dead, my home burned down, fell and crushed my vertibrae and then had a heart attack. I am finally settling in to my little place and getting back to normal. Well what ever that is. I have two rescue kitties and a pomerainian dog. She keeps the house busy. So life is all anew. I like Nascar, yard sales, dinner, I think I can still slow dance, a nice glass of wine, white zin. My day. My 2 cats and 1 dog wait for one move or blink of an eye. Then it's a feeding frenzy. Zabu talks to me the whole time I am setting up the dishes, Dioghee sits quietly on the dryer watching and Luci (dog) dances and squeals for her food. Then after my cereal the race is on. Luci is chasing the cats and racing over furniture and down the halls. Since it is 5am we all take a morning nap. I may put on CNN for some news or one of the religious channels. I do an errand or two maybe vacuum. Read. Check my email. Write to my email pal of 4 years. Chat on the phone. I await spring to open my windows and play in the flower bed and take walks with Luci. That is a day in the life. Not the life of the rich and famous for sure. Just down to earth and home.
