Bright, intelligent, outgoing,cool on occasion, easy to get to know. I am a very social person and confident as well. I think I am very comfortable in my own skin and it shows. People say that I "glow".I believe in God and I think that changes a person from the inside out. It also makes me more accepting these days instead of being so judgemental.

Things that have bothered me:

Inability to communicate. Being to possessive or bossy. Someone who is threatened by being myself. I am trustworthy and not out to break your heart, but I do better with a little space. I have learned how to love well and live even better. Sometimes, that means letting go, but only so we can learn to grow together. Holding on too tightly can destroy a relationship, but letting go can bring new found freedom. Life is a learning process.Instead of worrying about what isn't, it is better to be content with what is and just enjoy each other.

I think I am a "Lorelei looking for Luke". That in and of itself is a puzzle. "Gilmore Girls" remains a part of our lives. Sometimes I think that the person I am looking for is probably right in front of me if I only I would look and see. I want to fall in love with my bestfriend. Good looking is always a plus, funny, smart, trustworthy,ya know what I am thinking. On the serious side, A sense of humor, someone that knows who they are and what they want in a partner and out of life. I won't try to change you. I have worked in the hospitality industry, so I know how to make people feel welcomed and at home. I can make friends with anyone, I've been told. I love to socialize with new friends as well as old ones I am learning what fits me as I have changed as I have grown older, but I am open to new experiences and have learned to accept people without trying to change them.

Are you willing to compromise in difficult times and situations?

ABSOLUTELY!!!!!!!!I have learned to compromise with my children. As much as I would like to make all their choices be good ones, I have learned that they learn from their mistakes and would rather have them make them now with me as a cushion to fall back on rather than later when they might not feel like coming to me. In general, I am all for doing the right thing no matter the obstacles in the way. Life is not always black and white, but shades of gray.I think there are issues that can make or break a relationship and it's those issues where compromising may work. But, sometimes, when someone is too stubborn to see the situation clearly, tough love can be the best thing. When you care about someone, it isn't easy to be so honest that it actually hurts, but it is necessary. It's the give and take, the caring about each other despite the faults you can't seem to overlook, that is what's most important. It's better to compromise than to lose the best thing that has ever happened to you.Besides, isn't it all a learning process. I would like to get it right just once.

I am ready, willing and able to start something new. It has been a long time since I am have been involved with someone and I am willing to learn from my mistakes. There is so much potential for good things in life and it would be nice to share that life with someone special.

I am waiting to be wooed and will return the favor. Life is too short to not meet someone special. I like to go out to fine restaurants, but can be a fast food junkie,too. I am outgoing, so I like to go where the people are,BUT I can stay home,read a book or watch movies and be content, too. I love my tourist town and have been soaking up the local flavors of wine country. I love being a tourist in my hometown. I am just miles from where I grew up in the bay area. I keep in touch with people I have grown up with and have learned alot about myself in the process. I am busy exploring places I have grown up with and finding new places that I like to frequent.Each day brings new friends, new experiences and makes me feel at home within myself. My perfect date would be having someone come to Healdsburg and do the down town exploring. Maybe go try a few things at different places since the local restaurants are spectacular. Check out a few of the wineries although I am not much for drinking, these places are still fun to visit on occasion and I have many friends at them. Later, we could go to Santi's for dinner. Concerts in the park start soon, so we will have to reserve our place earlier in the day. I never know what kind of music will come from this, but it is a time for community and new people. The ending to a perfect day.

I am living my dream and happy to be doing so. I can't imagine my life getting much better these days. I wake up in a gorgeous place and am excited to get up to each new morning. Meeting the right person would make it all the better.I want to travel more often and have been trying to fit this in to my new schedule. Life is what you make it and I have a new found appreciation for my many blessings and look forward to meeting the right person, growing older and wiser and making the most of each day as it comes. When life brings lemons, let's make lemonade.On my wish list of things to do would be becoming more involved in my community. There are lot of people that don't have it as great as I do.I love doing thigs for other people without expecting anything in return.
