I did basic training between my junior and senior years if High School. I was 18 (stayed back in 6th grade) in great shape, 170 pounds of pure muscle. I took a trip out to visit my sister who was at Syracuse University in upper NY State. I took the bus and arrived Sat afternoon. She picked me up from the bus station and we went to her apt, she told me that she had a room mate, Kate. Kate was still doing some research at school and was not there. My sister told me she had to step out to get so cash, Kate would be there soon, and to get cleaned-up we would be going out tonight. So she left. I took a shower, shaved and put a towel around my waist. I was brushing my teeth (ever notice how your butt jiggles when you brush your teeth?). As I was there out of the corner of my eye someone walks by the bathroom door. Steps back in, looks at me a few seconds and step away again. “Oh you must be Kurt” I had my mouth full of paste so I answered “arghello”. She said she had to get to work early and left without me getting a look at her. My sister came back and we headed out. Got some subs to eat, then to a bar (drinking age was 18 still). My sister’s friends kept coming up and saying how cute I was and poured more beer into my cup. I noticed the bar maid kept coming up and replacing our pitcher, she was really good looking too. Finally the maid comes back without her apron on and says “I’m off lets go dancing” That was Kate. We left the bar, went to a local dance club where I spent most of the night dancing with Kate. We danced fast stuff, slow stuff, stuff where she was real close to me. We got back to the apt, my sister was going on about something, when I noticed how big Kate’s eyes were. How shinny Kate’s eyes were, I wanted to go swimming in them. There was a pause in the chat when Kate says to me “Kurt where are you sleeping tonight?” and she had a look on her face I never saw before on a woman. It registered in my brain and I was about to answer her when my sister must of sensed something. My sister leans in, breaks the line of sight, looks at Kate and says “he’s my little brother, he’s sleeping in my room”. She leans back and keeps chatting, the look on Kate’s face is gone, Kate gets up, goes to her room and slams the door. It was the first time that I ever felt the need to kill, kill my sister. If I had my wits about me I could have waited until she was asleep and mistaken Kate’s room as the bathroom. But it was not to be…. The last year in High School I had no interest in the girls there.
