My funniest life experience:

Well, I still chuckle when I recall one day when I was around 12 walking home from school and the neighbor across the street stopped in his brand new Corvair to offer me a ride. He was so proud of his new car and was showing me how nice it was. when he pulled into his driveway I opened the door to get out but the door fell off the hinges and onto the ground. He was shocked and amazed and speechless, as was I. I will never forget the look on his face. It was priceless. It is a shame digital cams weren't around then!

I am flexible and can easily adjust and compromise as long as someone isn't trying to take advantage of me or use me. I guess the biggest compromise I have ever made was taking care of my father when he came down with liver cancer. It wasn't easy and I had promised him I wouldn't put hin in a nursing home. I kept my promise and he died feeling loved and cared for.

My typical day:

I enjoy swimming and walking my dog, Wendy at neatby parks. I also volunteer at three local nursing homes helping with prayer services and activities. Otherwise, I like movies (especially action/adventure and sci-fi), poetry, music, outdoors, flea markets/yard sales, art and jewelry/beading. I love animals and anyone who wants to hang out with me would also have to be an animal lover.

Well, I have always wanted to see the tropics and swim in turquoise waters and see a real palm tree. I would also love to fly in a small plane over my city sometime. And I really would love to have an RV and travel all over North America. If I ever won the lottery I am sure I would do those things as well as help the children in Hatti have a better life.
